Clinker is a raw material in the cement industry, which is produced from the interaction of clay with limestone in special conditions, which are entered after their formation in the manufacture of different cement types by adding the required elements for each type of cement according to the required properties.
Clinker Manufacturing Process:
The process of manufacturing clinker begins by extracting the raw meal from the homogenization silo to ensure that the raw meal is stable and homogeneous in order to produce high quality clinker products. The initial heating of the materials is carried out in the preheated cyclone with a molten burner working on fuel, natural gas and coal. The material starts at this stage, and at this stage it moves to the oxidation phase of each component to be ready for the burning process. The burning process is carried out in a rotary kiln. The clinker temperature in the combustion zone in the furnace reaches 1,500 ° C. It is then cooled into an air cooler that lowers the temperature. The entire manufacturing process is continuously controlled from the central control room.
